Project Manager, Application Development

My client located in Deerfield is looking to add a "True" experienced Project Manager to their staff.

The Project Manager plans and manages team activities to assure goals & objectives are accomplished within timeframe and funding parameters. Oversees the work of analysts and is responsible for the performance, management and recruitment processes. Responsible for the delivery of IT projects and the support of applications within area of responsibility.
Assures projects follow all company and departmental policies, procedures and standards.

Develops and manages relationships with key customers.
Provides business consulting support to customers.
Develops and reviews project budgets.
Leverages deep understanding of business and/or technology to proactively identify and prioritize solutions that drive business value.
Manages day to day interactions with vendors.
Manages and resolves complex issues and escalates them appropriately.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Minimum five years IT experience with Bachelors Degree, or nine years IT experience

Project Manager, Application Development
• Minimum three years application development experience.
• Minimum three years experience with core applications / technologies, including full life-cycle implementations. Specific technologies will vary by position. Examples include:
o CRM: Siebel Life Sciences, Oracle
o Data Warehouse: Cognos, Informatica, Oracle
o Document Management: Documentum, CoreDossier, Input Accel
• Extensive experience with multiple programming languages / technology platforms
• Experience directing a team supporting multiple projects and multiple applications across a variety of technology platforms.
• Experience planning and managing all phases of systems development (e.g. requirements gathering, design, configuration, development, testing, conversion and application support).
• Extensive experience with SDLC methodology.
• Extensive application design experience.
• Extensive experience with relational databases: Oracle & SQL Server, Stored Procedures, PL/SQL.
• Extensive experience supporting both packaged and custom applications.
• Experience with computer systems validation process.

Project Manager, Business Systems
• Minimum three years experience leading large, complex projects.
• Experience with planning and managing all phases of systems development (e.g. requirements gathering, design, configuration, development, testing, conversion and application support)
• Extensive experience with SDLC methodology.


Project Manager, Unix and Data Communications
• Minimum three years experience with Unix server configurations, SAN and NAS storage infrastructure.
• Minimum three years experience with Cisco (routers, L2/L3 switches, wireless), T-1, T-3, Frame Relay, ISDN/PRI-BRI, Adtran CSU, Cyclades Terminal Servers, and related software.


Project Manager, Communications
• Knowledge of CISCO Call Center Manager and VOIP concepts.
• Knowledge of IPCC and IVR Systems.
• Experience with video conference equipment deployment and support.

• Knowledge of security and patch release processes.
• Knowledge of storage infrastructure
• Extensive experience with deployment and maintenance of email systems and stores (Microsoft Exchange).
• Experience developing and improving back up and recovery processes.
• Ability to use monitoring tools and proactively identifies issues and resolves issues.

Project Manager, Operations
• Minimum three years experience with scheduling and data exchange architectures and technologies.
• Knowlege of security and patch release processes.
• Knowledge of help desk procedures processes and tools.
• Knowledge of asset management and related tools.
• Ability to evaluate and implement new technologies which result in operational efficiencies.


TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional travel required. Must be able to drive or fly to various meetings.

Salary: $110,000 - $120k + 15% bonus
