Description
A Project Manager, Business Process Reengineering implements and manages various projects for eBusiness Operations and HTS directly related to all CCS (including all bill pay) websites. Acts as the single point of contact for all business decisions during the lifecycle of a project and the implementation of Interwoven content on all CCS websites.



The responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:



  • Serves as a liaison between business unit and systems organization to provide leadership in defining process improvement, cost saving, and revenue-generating opportunities.

  • Analyzes existing processes, and provides innovative technology solutions that directly impact company/department profitability.

  • Performs cost-benefit analyses, and creates presentations for management.

  • Works with management to build business cases and gain project consensus from department personnel.

  • Assists in the coordination and development of resources and requirements for technical projects, enhancements and modification initiatives.

  • May fortify projects to ensure objectives are met on time and within cost. Reports performance of initiative to management upon project completion.

  • Provides consultation and assistance to organizations in the preparation of system project plans, as assigned.

  • Remains technically abreast of changes, advancements and improvements within the Internet, computer, and financial industry.

  • Performs other special projects or assignments as requested.

Experience/Skills
This position requires an individual with:


  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Sciences, Business Administration or related field
  • Advanced degree is a bonus, but not required (should also be in a technical or business area).
  • A minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
  • 5-7 years of practical business experience with increasing responsibility
  • Proven experience in operations analysis and project implementation.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Capable of independently completing assigned projects, and escalating issues to management as needed.
  • Experience should be in one (or more) of the following fields or types of organizations:
    Consulting--Accenture, PWC, E&Y, Bearing Point, Deloitte, Infosys, Tata Consulting, etc. - consulting assignments should have been with card services or financial services clients (healthcare as well if in billing/payment areas of health care).
    Card services (other Card Companies or other companies that support card business)--Capital One, Providian, Citi, Metris, FDR, TSYS, Discover, Fair Isaac.
    Financial services (mortgage, banking, investments, consumer lending)?Washington Mutual, Wells Fargo, Charles Schwab,
    Union Bank of California, Countrywide Financial
    Health care experience (if with billing/payment focus).
    Technology companies--IBM, Oracle, Siebel.
  • Project management experience required.
  • Require the ability to work with little to moderate supervision; the ability to make recommendations regarding a assigned projects to management.
  • Background in computer science to ensure an understanding of the technical development process; the ability to discuss technical issues with both technicians and business users.
  • PMP certification is a bonus but not required.
