Description
ettain group has an immediate opening for a PROJECT MANAGER.

To handle / ensure the overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts;

establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations;

responsible for assembling project plans and team assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts on a daily basis, identifying resource needs, performing quality review, and escalating functional, quality and timeline issues appropriately;

responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources;

coordinate communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, budget, risk and resources of the work being managed;

follow rigorous SDLC (IT only) and project management best practices;

comply with internal Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and other compliance related processes, as well as adhere to change control and problem management procedures.



-Manages multiple large, complex projects with greater impact on the enterprise.

-Excels at delivering projects on time and within budget, meeting high quality standards and customer expectations.

-Excels at analyzing business unit technology needs, dissecting the most complex problems and suggesting process oriented solutions.

-Serves as SME in all aspects of project management methodology and tools, as well as resource management practices and change management techniques.

-Excellent ability to track and monitor project execution, regularly updating project plans and status reports.

-Actively identifies any issues or risks associated with a project, escalating them and possibly implementing mitigation strategies for risk prevention and timely resolution.

-Leads interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project initiatives.
-Serves as initial point of escalation for all project management issues.

-Assists senior level management in coordinating business area activities and balancing workload.

-Manages and/or mentors project management staff.

-May develop and implement new proposals on cutting-edge process improvements and technology initiatives.
