Description
Project Management -Participate in the development of the project plan and coordinate the execution of all technology scope. -Develop and manage budgets, cost center reports, schedules, status reports. -Communicate and maintain Technology?s requirements in regard to constructability and corresponding contractor negotiations for outside plant infrastructure, floor turnover, technology rooms and amenities spaces. -Facilitate and participate in project level meetings, coordinate and manage deliverables, maintain and communicate as to all elements of the project plan. Procurement -Coordinate Technology?s requirements and participation in project level activities as they relate to procurement, including but not limited to all phases of vendor engagement, bid, leveling and award. -As necessary negotiate and establish master and service level agreements -Maintain MCD Control Points for all phases of the project. Contract Administration -Utilize technology contracts as a management tool and measurement of performance. Identify terms and conditions, communicate Technology contract deliverables and ensure delivery. Leverage change management processes and negotiate changes as they relate to schedule, scope and budget. -Track technology project changes, communicate and document project impact (cost and schedule) and mitigate risk associated with change. Develop, track, negotiate and approve CORs. LVC Product -Develop and manage low voltage cabling budgets and schedules. -Manage the performance of the work for the low voltage cabling product. -Manage vendors and contractors to facilitate procurement and manage quality of performance.

Requirements:

Demonstrate a firm understanding of project management principles, specifically his/her approach to project scope, schedule, & budget development. -Candidate must have experience in low voltage cabling, construction of technology spaces and tech room fit-out. -Demonstrate and aptitude for complex construction methodologies and their impact to Technology requirements. -Analyst must be familiar with core tech room components: Mechanical & Electrical, Cable connectivity, Network & Storage infrastructure. -Candidate must have demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary project teams. -Candidate must have the aptitude to understand complex technology strategies and communicate them to a broader audience. -Candidate must have experience in procurement and contract administration; experience in the tri-state contracting market is preferred. -Aptitude for understanding complex contractual issues and the ability to engage and negotiate with the appropriate parties for equitable resolution. -Candidate should have understanding of risk analysis and the ability to forecast project hurdles, identify alternate paths and key decision points in order to mitigate project risk. -Aptitude for process engineering, including the development of new or revised policies and procedures, establish measurements of success as well as provide training and support for new processes.
