Description
LOCATED IN SAN DIEGO, CA -MUST RELOCATE Manage technical document design projects between clients and vendors.
-Lead and supervise project coordinators regarding technical document design projects.
-Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
-Provide consultation and price estimations to clients regarding technical document design projects.
-Negotiate with clients and vendors for pricing and services.
-Ensure projects are on schedule and on time.
-Ensure the quality and accuracy of projects.
-Keep close contact with clients to insure services and performance are meeting their expectations and requirements to attain higher customer satisfaction.
-Report problems and quality issues in project to supervisor as soon as it is identified while trying to resolve those.
-Business trip if necessary.

Skills:
-Experience in technical department design and publication industry.
-Knowledge of Pre-Press procedures.
-Objective perspective.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-Flexible and well organized personality.
-Negotiation and coordination skills.
-Quick learning.
-Desktop publishing software (Adobe FrameMaker, PageMaker, Illustrator, InDesign and others).

Education:
College level education or higher.

Experience:
5 years experience in desktop publishing or related field.
