Genesis10 is seeking a Sr. Project Manager for a 12 month contract position in Milwaukee, WI.
Manage all the day-to-day activities of a project. Creates staffing plan and manages staff, both internal and external. Coordinate interfaces between the project teams if multiple teams are involved. Responsible for producing project management deliverables. Monitor and communicate project costs and schedule. Control project scope and facilitate change management process. Lead and mentor staff in project management techniques. A senior level person is the most experienced, with the widest range of experience in various size and types of projects that are relevant to the role. Typically 5 to 8 or more years in the role would be expected.

BASIC FUNCTION: Project manager for Human Resource Platform Conversion Large Corporate initiative. Responsibility for managing scope, risk, business value, schedule and budget for business process definition and execution, and driving enterprise communication and change management. Provides guidance to Human Resource business clients, and interacts routinely with client leadership, vendor, and with multiple peer and downstream organizations in order to meet business goals. Assists in evaluating alternatives and recommendation options in the development and enhancements of new and/or existing systems and processes. Provides leadership in improvement of related processes.

Demonstrated experience managing large corporate projects utilizing an external vendor
Demonstrated experience managing communications and change management
Prior experience with Human Resource processes strongly desired
Experience using formal Project Management methodologies
Experience dealing with projects with significant risk and uncertainty
Demonstrated orientation toward partnering as a business approach.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in MIS, Business, or a related field required or a significant amount of directly-related work experience beyond the minimum required for the position.
Minimum five years of experience in project management, with practical experience in large project management.
Proven management skills including leadership, conflict management, decision-making, delegation, planning and organization.
Demonstrated ability to independently lead all phases of a complex project using a project methodology, and to initiate process improvements, required.
Flexibility and adaptability required.
Negotiation and vendor relations experience preferred. Experience in Human Resource functions preferred.
