Position Summary:

Project Managers are responsible for managing all assigned Kronos implementations including projects involving multiple locations and or departments in a hardware/software, multivendor, multi protocol environments. This position will be the focal point for all communications with the customer for Kronos on their assigned accounts through the implementation process. The Project Manager is responsible for customer satisfaction and will efficiently lead both customer and internal Kronos resources to meet the established implementation milestones and targeted completion dates. In general, the scopes of projects are highly complex, in a large-market account base. The position works independently and is capable of managing multiple simultaneous engagements in complex customer environments ? multi-locations, substantial infrastructure challenges, custom work, etc, as well as leading other Project Managers to fulfill requirements. This position mentors other Project Managers and is expected to consistently drive best practices through Kronos methodologies.

Principal Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will be the key Kronos focal point to the customer and be the manager of all resources being supplied by Kronos to effect a timely efficient, successful implementation with a goal of 100% referencability. On a day-to-day basis a PM will:

1. Assist the Region Professional Services Manager (PSM) in implementing corporate service programs as they pertain to the region.
2. Ensure a thorough understanding of customer expectations through meetings with sales and discussions with the customer.
3. Ensure local and corporate implementation processes and standards are met. Identify, create and communicate process improvements.
4. Be the focal point of all communications with the customer and regularly communicate with the customers project manager and decision-maker verbally and in writing throughout the implementation process.
5. Communicate regularly with the customer and Kronos resources assigned to ensure schedule and scope integrity. Anticipate, identify and escalate any unresolved or unusual installation problems through the appropriate Kronos resource network.
6. Ensure the Application Consultants, and other Kronos resources, are efficiently scheduled, executing against that schedule, and ensuring customer readiness.
7. Set up and conduct a pre-implementation planning meeting with the customer, ensuring that all roles and responsibilities are established and timelines are set.
8. Finalize and develop the Kronos project team, deliverables and task flow, and project schedule (calendar) with the customer?s project manager.
9. Ensure 100% compliance with Project Change Control procedures.
10. Ensure that the customer?s executive sponsor(s) understand scope and timelines.
11. Mentor other Project Managers on the use of methodologies, implementation, problem resolution and people leadership.
12. Manage the project timeline; communicate deviations; resolve scope changes; confirm system activation date, and end-user training is scheduled and executed.
13. Transition customer from installation to customer support.
14. Ensure that the customer will be a Kronos reference.


QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

? Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in a Business, Computer Sciences or related field.
? 10+ years experience in project managing application deployment initiatives, especially in hospital/healthcare environments.
