Description
Sr. Project Manager needed for the San Diego, CA location. Position oversees multiple projects and is responsible for all aspects of the project over the entire project life cycle which includes initiatation, planning, execution, control, and closure. Responsible for assembling a project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing a schedule for the timely completion and success of a project. Communicate to upper managers or Executive Sponsors on the status of projects. Projects will be technical in nature and some will require management across multiple departments within organization.

Experience/Skills
Successful candidate must have a 4 year degree. Candidate must have general management experience including Project Management experience and an expert understanding of basic project management methodologies according to the Project Management Body of Knowledge. Familiarity with technologies such as IBM pSeries and xSeries severs, AIX or UNIX, storage arrays, and TCP/IP communications are desired. Previous use of Microsoft Project and PMP Certification is a plus. Looking for some experience in using Microsoft Project Server. Experience in developing a Project Management methodology is a plus.

Citizenship: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
