Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Financial Systems Project Manager III reporting to Director, Corporate Financial Systems. This position is responsible for project management of financial system enhancement and integration efforts related to various projects assigned to the Financial Systems & Integrations team. This involves the requirements gathering, project management, training and deployment of financial systems and tools, sometimes to new acquisitions, globally. The project management includes the ability to analyze, identify GAPs, document, train, understand financial systems requirements and deploy them successfully within our Client's financial systems applications, reporting tools and interface systems and processes. This position will also participate in other support and development efforts for process improvements and future enhancements, related to our financial system applications and reporting tools. This position is expected to accurately and consistently anticipate business needs (solutions, benchmarks, examples, best practices and out of the box thinking) and effectively contribute this thinking to the business partners.

Overall responsibilities include:

=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Support pre-acquisition activities as required
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Provide coordination/project management with non Financial Systems integration teams as required; i.e. HTR, Internal Operations and Infrastructure, Other.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Provide project management of all aspects of procurement to payment (PtP) processes for newly acquired entity.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Provide project management of all aspects of record to report (RtR) processes for newly acquired entity.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Provide project coordination as needed for all aspects of quote to cash (QtC) processes for newly acquired entity.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Ensure integrity and validation of converted data
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Develop and manage project plans and timelines.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Gather and document requirements for financial reporting of newly acquired entity and ensure deployment to support identified requirements.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Provide testing and training as required to support successful CRP and UAT where applicable
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Provide pre and post go live operational support to End users and development groups.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Develop, improve, implement and enforce internal standards, processes and definitions related to financial systems integrations, with a goal towards continuous improvement on quality and efficiency of solutions, plans and integrations.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Provide adequate training and education to all accounting, reporting and business unit finance organizations of definitions, processes and corporate financial systems and toolsets.
=C3=A2?=C2=A2 Lead or assist with the management of cross functional projects for process improvement and systems / applications implementatdf-tc


Experience/Skills
EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 6-7 years hands-on experience with or supporting financial systems, acquisition integrations, preferably in a high tech environment. Minimum of 5 years experience in Accounting and Systems Integration and Implementation.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field.
Oracle 11i General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Payables, Purchasing, iProcurement experience a must.
Experience / Knowledge of Essbase, other Oracle financial modules (including Accounts Receivable) and Hyperion desired. Understanding of other non-Oracle financial products.
Understanding of accounting requirements, finance functions and best practice business processes along with international accounting implications, consolidation and closing processes.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with credibility at all levels of the organization. Responsive to customer needs and highly motivated to improve the skills and capabilities of his/her organization. A team player outlook with the ability to work well with peers. Superior prioritization, communication and multi-tasking skills a must.
