Description
The primary focus of this position is to project manage the implementation of business technology and process spanning multiple internal stakeholder groups. Other key responsibilities include updating and monitoring project status, project budgets, schedules, and providing overall project management to large global enterprise IT projects. The Project Manager serves as the project owner and is ultimately responsible for the successful delivery and execution of every campaign. Candidate must be able to see big-picture, identify strategic opportunities and best practices while managing details and effectively communicating and managing expectations.
The ideal candidate will combine an intense will to succeed with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and with sharp attention to detail.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field
-MBA preferred
-PMP certified preferred
-Microsoft Project experience required
-ERP implementation/management experience preferred


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- At least 10 years of work experience as a Project Manager, managing multiple large, complex global projects with great impact on the enterprise.
- Strong background managing Web Applications and Technology teams is a MUST have
- Knowledge of SOX compliance principles and guidelines
- Performs impact and cost-benefit (ROI) analysis to help discover, define, and document written business specifications for business initiatives and systems enhancements that have multi-departmental scope and impact, as well as leads development projects pertaining to Operations
- Experience writing detailed functional specifications, for use by both technical and non-technical readers that describe business transaction functionality, end-user interfaces, data integration, business-rule processing logic and data communication
- Excels at delivering projects on time and within budget, meeting high quality standards and customer expectations.
- Excels at analyzing business unit technology needs, dissecting the most complex problems and suggesting process oriented solutions.
- Serves as SME in all aspects of project management methodology and tools, as well as resource management practices and change management techniques.
- Experience managing an interdisciplinary team using a systems development life-cycle approach to performing root-cause and impact analysis (size, scope, ROI), writing business plan proposals and requirements documentation, quality assessment plans, including user acceptability testing, implementation and post-implementation plans, and reporting.
- Excellent ability to track and monitor project execution, regularly updating project plans and status reports.
-Actively identifies any issues or risks associated with a project, escalating them and implementing mitigation strategies for risk prevention and timely resolution
- Ability to influence, motivate, and lead stake holders from various business units to meet agreement
-Leads interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project initiatives.
-Serves as initial point of escalation for all project management issues.
-Assists senior level management in coordinating business area activities and balancing workload.
-Manages and/or mentors project team members
-May develop and implement new proposals on cutting-edge process improvements and technology initiatives.
