Project ManagerPosition Summary and Primary Objectives- The Project Manager is a strategic position within our client's delivery organization that provides engagement oversight and coordination to medium-to-large scale projects with an emphasis on delivering closure within budget and under time estimates.- The primary objective of this position is to provide project management services with minimal external supervision to multi-discipline work teams on an end-to-end basis by utilizing best practices.Major Duties & Responsibilities% of Time Spent- Managing integration projects including systems, storage, voice, and network architectures for complex customer environments.- Overseeing the implementation of environments utilizing all levels of resources as necessary.90%- Research capabilities, solutions, and goals to provide continued business in the form of consecutive business within a set of accounts.5%- Assisting in larger presales efforts by attending meetings to present methodology.5%- Travel should be expected to respond to customer needs on a local basis. Every effort is made to locate resources near to customers to prevent excessive travel.Education/Qualification Required- Requires a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent training, in a related field.- Professional Project Management Qualification required.- Quality, Performance measured over 2 year period with consistently high quality rating.Experience- 2-3 years Project Management -related work experience.-Must have a strong understanding IP Telephony.Skills and Core Competencies- Excellent communication skills are required.- Excellent customer liaison and facilitation skills are required.- Strong ability to coordinate team efforts is required.- The following project management skills are prerequisites and must be demonstrated - time, cost and budget, risk, quality, resource, asset, change, and conflict or crisis management.- Strong MS-Project skill is required.- Strong presentation skill is required.- Strong financial and PM report writing skills are preferred.- Good general IT knowledge is highly desirable.- Good documentation skills are highly desirable.- Demonstrates the ability to originate new projects with existing customers through new technologies and understanding of customer business needs.Organizational Relationships- This position will report to consulting management based on regional models.- This position may have resources as temporary reports on a project or team basis.df-tc
