Description
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manages the successful completion of business intelligence and related data management initiatives within the Corporate Finance organization to meet project budget, scope, and schedule commitments

  • Ensures appropriate risk management plans and change control procedures are in place to achieve quality solutions that meet stated business objectives and deliver anticipated business benefits

  • Defines, leads, and/or manages business process, operational readiness, and all standard XM system development life cycle deliverables

  • Completes data and financial analysis

  • Develop and maintain all project deliverables including project charters, budgets, project plans, issue logs, change control, and all XM-standard system development life cycle deliverables

  • Manage project delivery through effective use of internal XM resources, as well as external vendor resources

  • Complete data analysis activities ? independently, or with others - including data mapping, modeling, and schema definitions, as well as interpretation and translation of enterprise data from disparate sources

  • Apply industry best practices for risk management, change control, quality management, and project management to all assigned projects

  • Work with XM stakeholders to define and manage vision, scope, objectives, plans, etc. for assigned projects and policies and standards for effective enterprise data management

  • Other duties as assigned



Education and/or Experience

  • BS/BA Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

  • Project management professional (PMP), preferred

  • Five or more years project management of large, complex technical projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience with data warehouse solutions and ?best of breed? enterprise applications preferred

  • Five or more years of data or financial analysis experience, including developing data queries and interpreting results and managing business case definition and execution

  • Hands-on experience with industry best practices for data life cycle management (e.g., data governance, data dictionary, data mapping and modeling, data warehouses and data marts)

  • Familiarity with Oracle database table structures and indexing, standard analytic and query tools, and enterprise applications and middleware (e.g., Hyperion, Informatica, Lawson, Portal Infranet, Siebel)

  • Experience with Crystal 9, Crystal ePortfolio, Business Intelligence tools such as Hyperion, Business Objects, Microstrategy, a plus
