Description
Responsible for leading the overall blue printing and fit/gap analysis for the PeopleSoft HR modules. This individual is the team lead overseeing the senior analysts and will coordinate all requirements gathering and test planning as part of the PeopleSoft HR system upgrade.

This individual will predominantly play a support role during the build phase by assisting technical developers and programmers to translate functional designs to technical designs and making sure that the application being developed exactly meets the business needs. In addition, as needed, this individual will play a support in analyzing defects affecting functional change during the system test phase.

Support Responsibilities

General Operations:
- Lead the configuration and the development team to configure and setup the PeopleSoft HR system using the GSK business processes as part of the application configuration effort.
- Design and develop custom application components to augment the package to meet all the needs of the business requirements
- Provide package/product expertise and educate the team in regards to development and implementation.
- Analyze and design new business processes.
- Work with the business architect and other planners to assess current capabilities and identify high-level requirements.
- Identify and define application requirements and use cases.
- Work with the project manager, architects, and other team members to define metrics and performance goals for the application.
- Participate in transitioning the requirements and use cases to the designers, and ensure a clear and complete understanding of the requirements.
- Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results for product, performance, and user acceptance testing.
- Serve as a liaison to the business community. Participate in a user and task analysis to maintain the business community's perspective.
- Serve as a resource for the training architects as they evaluate training and performance support needs and design the training and performance support products.
- Develop conversion approach for converting the legacy data and conducting conversion effort.
- Develop testing approach to conduct end-to-end test that includes the core system and all the integrating applications.
- Track and monitor closely on the scope and develop change orders for the new requirements as part of scope control.
- Develop test plan, strategy, test cycles, test scripts and roadmap for the system test.
- Execute system test.
- Develop production migration strategy and readiness approach.
- Conduct migration of the product to production.
- Packaged software implementation and the standards and procedures
- Communicate the vision and strategy of the application architecture with the business groups and the executive leadership
- Develop production readiness plan and be responsible for the go-live of system within the scheduled timeframe and budget from an application perspective.

Required Skills:
- Experienced in implementing PeopleSoft HRMS v8.x and higher, with a focus on the HR modules
- Ability to analyze and design business processes
- Ability to develop application requirements based on input gathered from a variety of sources including analysis results and feedback from the user community
- Ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements
- Ability to review project deliverables for completeness and quality, and compliance with established project standards
