We are adding a Project Manager to our team.

This position is part of the award-winning Berbee Microsoft practice. We?ve built a team of certified consultants who have expertise implementing Microsoft?s solution set for Core Infrastructure, Communications and Collaboration, Security and Information Worker Solutions.

As a part of the Berbee Microsoft team, you are in the middle of the action creating technical solutions, impacting Berbee?s business growth and supporting our sales team. Responsibilities:

The incumbent of this position will:
  • Manage project resources and ensure overall performance including cost, timelines, resources and risk management to successfully complete projects within schedule
  • Manage a highly technical team of individuals to implement an enterprise infrastructure design, build and migration.
  • Participate in the delivery of Berbee projects using the proven Berbee engagement methodology
  • Utilize project management software including MS Project/Project Server to outline project tasks, dependencies, timelines, resources, and costs
  • Identify common concerns and achieve support for working towards broader goals
  • Prepare weekly/monthly project status reports for management
  • Identify project risks and inefficiencies and provide recommendations for resolution and mitigation
  • Incorporate process improvement and change management strategies in planning projects

Qualifications:

  • Three to five to years of experience with Infrastructure Project Management
  • Two or more years experience in leading significant projects.
  • Four-year degree in business or computer-related field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, lead, build teams, and recommend business strategies
  • Working knowledge of one or more formal project management methodologies including at least one that is iterative (non-waterfall)
  • Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Project Management 2003 solutions
  • Must be proficient in solving business problems, applying Microsoft technology and frameworks and be capable of demonstrating proficiencies in Enterprise IT infrastructure issues
  • Technical knowledge must include in-depth knowledge with some of the following technologies:
    • Products such as SMS, WUS and Exchange
    • Active Directory
    • IT Security
    • IT networking infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of Gantt and Pert charts to illustrate project parameters
  • Working knowledge of the cost, timeline, and resources necessary in deploying custom applications and software
  • Proven Project oversight responsibilities and mentoring of consultants preferred
  • A professional, business-focused attitude and courteous mann
