This project manager-medical device Position Features:

Summary:
Manages OEM projects for contract manufacturing from concept to production. Directs project team to complete and release new products or changes to existing products. Reports directly to the Director of Engineering.
Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Assists in the formulation of project objectives and identification of approaches to be taken$
2. Develops estimates of time, expenses and manpower requirements. Manages schedules and budgets. Reviews progress according to technical objectives, budgetary and scheduling parameters. Provides regular status updates to senior management.
3. Leads projects from inception to product release according to engineering procedures
4. Ensure that projects are documented in conformance with company, ISO and FDA standards. Plans and follows engineering procedures, leads projects status meetings, FMEA meetings, engineering design reviews, etc.
5. Coordinates efforts within all departments
6. Provides technical project leadership to assigned projects (new design, changes, modifications.). Responsible for overall system architecture
7. Develops system technical and manufacturing specifications in close relationship with marketing and customers. Defines system V&V requirements
8. Investigates system problems, and comes up with solutions or recommendations to solve the problems
9. Interfaces directly with customers to assist in resolution of specific application problems unique to their respective products
10. Ensures the quality policy is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization through an adequate organizational structure to ensure that devices are designed and produced in accordance with the requirements of the Quality System Regulation and ISO 9001.

Training Experience and Skill Requirements:
BSME/EE or equivalent experience.
Minimum eight years of industry experience, including three years in increasingly complex project management duties in a manufacturing environment.
Possess a good understanding of life science systems, their subsystems, and their interactions. Experience with Biotechnology or Medical instruments.
