Medicare Finance WASATS Scanning Project Manager

ssignment is specifically within the Financial IT Business Area,

The primary responsibility is to successfully deliver IT solutions and services to Business Partners.
The purpose of the Medicare Finance WASATS Scanning Project is to automate the processing of WASATS forms. Rather than manually handling paper forms multiple times, the forms are handled once, scanned into images, and processed through the images. This project is being implemented as an independent project to improve the efficiency of processing forms.

Detailed responsibilities for this position include the following:
Managing Supply and Demand to ensure adequate resources are available and delivery commitments are met.
Providing individual project time lines, status reports and statistics.
Escalating project issues.
Acting as the primary interface for given initiative between the Business Partners, development and the Technology and the infrastructure organizations.
Standardizing and monitoring the project management methodologies.
Managing the project funding/budget.
Managing the project Release Process.
Managing the Change Process within Project.
Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Management Information Systems (Master's degree is preferred).

Minimum of 7+ years of industry experience that includes a broad understanding of the software delivery process, professional services consulting and/or program management.
Candidates must have 3+ years experience managing
implementations of large-scale, complex, multi-disciplined, cross functional and highly visible projects/programs, with budgets in excess of $1 million and team over 10 people.
Demonstrable experience in multi-disciplinary leadership, strong customer focus and excellent people skills.
Must be experienced in Project Management Methodologies.

The Manager will be required to know or learn the client's program and process methodology and to execute it within the established organizational framework and oversight processes.

Candidates should have experience managing the implementation of healthcare and/or insurance system(s). Specific experience with the implementation of "scanning" technology is highly desired.
Experienced in client relationship management.
Project Management Institute (PMI) Certification is highly desired.
