JOB DESCRIPTION
Position???s name: SDC Project Manager

Project name: Upgrades to servers and mainframe.

Position Description: ???Leads the project planning effort, including the definition of the deliverables and the required delivery dates, creation of a logical work breakdown structure, definition of major project milestones, accumulation of all project cost and benefit estimates. Manages, prepares and produces project management reports, timelines, budgets, and documentation. Create and manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, actuals tracking and calculating earned value metrics. Identifies risks and issues and provides effective mitigation. Monitors project activities and resolves/escalates issues as needed. "

Project Description: This Project Manager is accountable for the on-time, on-budget delivery of multiple technical specifications and upgrades for various servers and mainframes in the data center supporting Client Energy. The PM is responsible for planning the work, managing a cross-functional team, and mitigating issues and risks. The PM is responsible for forecasting costs, tracking actuals, and explaining variances.

Job Role & Skill Set: Project Manager - General

Required skills: Minimum 3- 5 years of project management experience, with management of a $2M Prior experience in managing infrastructure /?project budget or greater. Proven experience on a project with a large?Service Delivery Center projects. number of impacted users, (i.e., at least 100 users) and managing the associated Experience in managing project budget forecasts and?change management. Experienced with accrual-based accounting. Technical Skill Set?actuals. Requirements: Prior experience project managing infrastructure projects including server, mainframe, etc. Extensive experience in leading and managing in all systems life cycle phases (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, post production support). Ability to communicate well with others, follow best practice PM st
