We have an immediate need for a Project Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION
CDI has an immediate need for a Project Manager at one of our top clients. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience managing software development projects including web based applications.

12+ months
W-2 only

10+ years technical project management experience

Description:
Manage activities related to web based applications, banking or financial industry experience highly desired.

- Plan, coordinate, and manage technical activities and deliverables for the development team.
- Ensure that tasks and deliverables are met on time and on budget.
- Plan and facilitate technical and project team meetings.
- Publish meeting agendas and notes.
- Work with resource manager to create resource forecast and work assignment plan for project.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project plan to track technical tasks, project related activities, and deliverables.
- Manage project schedule, execution, resource utilization, and delivery commitments.
- Monitor work progress and resource capacity, and take action or escalate if necessary if there are issues.
- Provide regular and timely project status reporting.
- Track and manage technical or project issues by communicating and driving or identifying required resources to resolve issues in a timely fashion.
- Develop detailed budget tracking.
- Provide regular budget/resource analysis and status reports to resource manager and clients to ensure that we remain within the target budget.
- With input from technology manager, negotiate on behalf of development team the project scope, schedule, and commitments.
- Provide work effort sizing upon request.
- Ensure compliance with internal project management and SDLC best practices, and security, risk management, and audit requirements.

Preferred Skills: MS Office including Access, Project, and PowerPoint
