What you need for this position:

- 7 years implementing IT projects for large organizations: Oversight of technical feasibility and approach, schedule realism and prioritization, maintenance impact, cost impact, compatibility/interoperability, reporting requirements, project management and administration
- 6 years involved in projects in Mainframe VSAM, DATACOM (non-SQL version) or equivalent file types
- 6 years experience in planning, analysis, design, development, evaluating Products, technology, vendors, products to suit the requirements, implementation and post-implementation of IT projects or systems
- 5 years experience in management of deliverables and knowledge transfer, proposing the implementation plan, managerial oversight and control, managerial reporting mechanisms and tools to be employed management of risk mitigation.
- Master's Degree in Computer, Mathematics, Information Technology or related science
- 3 client references from projects similar in scope and functions above


What you'll be doing:

- Overseeing services for all assigned implementation functions and progress toward realizing expected outcomes.
- Developing a implementation plan that would also include technical architectures for the proposed migration, archival and retrieval solution.
- Provide a detailed project implementation plan broken down through at least the 3rd level that tracks the work performed and can identify potential problems well in advance.
- Provide weekly status reports highlighting the amount of work performed, mitigation steps, exceptions or issues that may adversely impact the project schedule or budget in a timely manner.
