PMP-certified, retail experience, SDLC experience, program-level PM experience, Vendor relations, Manage integrated project plan to reflect status of several sub-projects, manage scope changes via robust change control process, track issues, identify and assign responsible resource and document status (resolution, who, when, move to closed), present project status during weekly cross-functional meetings, establish effective communication plan with escalation procedures, develop 'no surprises' communication strategy, integrate and track dependencies of non-IS project groups (training, operations, learning, legal, finance, LP etc.), manage resource staffing budget, manage detailed project task and timeline planning, manage the deployment of software to 1700 client locations.

The project manager within the POS (Point-of-Sale) organization is responsible for the day-to-day management of a POS software release comprised of many sub-projects. These individual projects may have separate sponsors and stakeholders. The role of the project manager is to ensure these sub projects, many of which are large, are integrated through the user-acceptance test process and are deployed as one cohesive POS release.

The management of these releases includes the integration of 3rd-party developed software and in-house development efforts. In addition to the core IT team, integration and coordination among end-users, training, operations, testing and other stakeholders is critical to project success
