Description
Unison Systems is seeking experienced Project and Program Management professionals for long term (12-24 month) contracts managing large-scale projects for our Banking/Financial Services client.

Your responsibilities will include: authoring and managing the project plan inclusive of clarifying business benefits, stakeholder engagement, scoping and estimating, project resource coordination, budget management, driving cross-functional team deliverables and schedules, hitting target milestones, managing assigned projects according to plan, risk and issue management; and collaborating closely with stakeholders during the complete project lifecycle

Qualifications:
A dynamic, results-oriented, detail-driven project/program manager with 5-8 years of project management experience
Expertise in developing detailed plans for complex projects involving challenging requirements, limited resources, and fixed deadlines
Expertise in developing financial/work estimates and of budget tracking
A proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Familiarity with software project and project management concepts, practices and procedures including familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project
Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, resource organization, project/task prioritization and schedule development.
Demonstrated ability to make project assessments, and to intervene as required to get projects on track
Expertise in both written and interpersonal communication, in relationship building, and in collaboration in a cross-functional team comprised of diverse personalities, skill sets, and levels of experience.
Excellent organizational skills, focus, and attention to detail
Ability (and preference!) to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, hectic, and energetic environment
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio

Preferred Qualifications:
Background in consulting
Background in Financial Services; background in Payments a big plus
Experience in implementing project management process/methodology
Experience in coaching junior Project Managers
