Description
Our client, a strong Fortune 500, located in the Perimeter Area, is searching for a PM to join their team. You will work on a data cleansing project for a future revenue forecasting system. The client has data in many identified sources - a PM is needed to lead a small team to validate the data in the sources for its completeness and its integrity. They use a data quality tool called First Logic. It's important that you have experience leading a data cleansing /quality initiative, experience with Oracle, and sufficient business accumen to understand what questions to ask the business about revenue forecasting. Ideally you will be a 5 to 8 year PM veteran that has had hands on experience in data cleansing quality work. Project managers are responsible for successful project coordination and management, including on-time/on-budget management of large-scale IT projects. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of Project Management concepts and techniques and should have the skills to evaluate project feasibility, establish priority, and define, plan and execute the activities necessary to reach the project objectives. This role will serve as organizer, facilitator, planner, analyst, and problem solver. Excellent management skills and the ability to promote a team environment are essential, as are outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work effectively in a fluid, fast-paced environment is critical.

Experience/Skills
It's important that you have experience leading a data cleansing /quality initiative, experience with Oracle, and sufficient business accumen to understand what questions to ask the business about revenue forecasting.

Work closely with business owners and IT staff to rationalize business requirements and facilitate successful implementation
. Effectively communicate project status to management and keep business stakeholders informed of project status and all related issues
. Manage and control changes in project scope while communicating impact to management and team
. Identify, communicate and manage risks that may interfere with project execution or success
