Specific Description
This position would provide technical/engineering administrative support to a dynamic engineering organization. Candidate must be very organized, detailed oriented, and able to multi-task. Required skills include good verbal and written skills, knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, and Project). Candidate will report to the engineering DPM but also support the Chief Engineer's office. Applicants must have an active Top Secret Clearance. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 1) Prepare for Engineering Review Boards (ERB) by ensuring the ERB checklist is completd and the documentation is prepared and distributed, schedule meeting with appropriate attendees, room, and resources. 2) Support PMO management by working with the project leads and Program Control to develop, maintain and track a single view of project status to include deliverables due with due dates from the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and book boss assignment to facilitate deliverable status tracking by the engineering management. This includes GFI/GFE due to engineering. 3) Maintain and reconcile organizational staffing to include a) program organization chart b) approved staff levels per project from project ROMs and actual staffing levels c) Candidate Pipeline for all open positions (Req Status in terms of open and posted per division, Candidates applied, Candidates under consideration, Reach back candidates, length of time position open, length of time required to fill and percentage of positions never filled.) Provide updates to the Green book charts on staffing for engineering and d) clearance status. 4) Calculate SLAs 5) Manage Work Product Inspections by ensuring that team leads have schedule formal inspections for all scheduled deliverables (i.e. Life Cycle documentation and system products to include installation scripts, source code, fill data sets, etc.) Assist task/team technical leads in publishing inspection packages, tracking action items to completion and gathering inspection evidence such as finding logs and disposition of findings. 6) Assist in collecting and maintaining productivity metrics for use in developing BOEs and process improvement. 7) Develop, deconflict and maintain IATU calendars so that locations, times and changes are known to all stakeholders in a timely manner. 8) Work with CM, QA, Security and IATU personnel to ensure that IATU documents and artifacts are marked properly, packaged appropriately delivered and stored in the appropriate repositories (CM systems, QA library, IATU storage etc.). 9) Act as a liaison between organizations outside IATU as necessary. This may include but is not limited to: a) Acting as IATU?s point of contact for scheduled interaction with non-IATI organizations b) Coordinating with other IATI groups such as Business Operations (EVM) or CM to resolve issues, plan training or improve processes. 10) At the direction of IATU management, asses project issues in the areas of productivity and quality. Recommend/develop and monitor action plans for the resolution of project issues.
General Position Description
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Typical Minimums
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.df-tc
