Experience/Skills
The ideal candidate will exhibit the following background and qualifications:
. Must have experience with extreme programming
. Must be proficient in Colabnet (collaborative net which is a project management tool)
. Must have strong Project Management experience; at least 5 years
. Minimum 2 years managing 5-10 software developers in Web Application Development
. Minimum 5 years total experience (preferably a portion of that in hands on development)
. Recent hands-on technical skills in software development is essential
. Web Application Development experience; designing and managing scalable, complex development projects
. Ability to gather business requirements from management and other business units to solve problems and implement strategies using available technologies efficiently and affectively
. Ability to produce in a fast pace, progressive start-up like environment
. Candidate must possess strong understanding of development used in Unix-based and Microsoft Web development environments with technologies such as Java, Web Application Servers (iPlanet, Apache, Tomcat, IIS), HTML, XML, JSP
. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; strong mentoring skills
