Position Summary:
The role of Project Manager is to scope, define, manage and lead the implementation of software and Website development projects from business initiation through to production launch and post-launch assessment.



Principal Responsibilities:
Work closely with internal and external business stakeholders as well as technical management, QA personnel, programming leads, developers and designers.
Own the project implementation and is responsible for delivering a quality end product, on time, meeting stakeholder expectations.
Involved in hands-on fashion, including but not limited to the writing of functional specifications, the preparation of detailed project schedules, the training of end users and support staff, the preparation of test plans and managing the cross functional team.
Gathers requirements resulting in functional specification documents which may include site maps, wire frames, user scenario flow or use cases and other business logic documentation.
Drives accountability to meeting project deadlines by all participants in the software development process.




Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree (Computer Science or Engineering preferred), Master's degree preferred
4+ years project management experience in the implementation of Web based or software business solutions
PMP certification

E- Proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel, Project, Visio and PowerPoint)
E- Ability to coordinate development of detailed business requirements and develop a functional specification from business requirements
E- Proven ability to lead diverse project teams through an Agile development life cycle
P- Working knowledge of data driven, Search-based Websites
P- Experience with Omniture Site Catalyst
P- Experience with Sitecore CMS
P- Certified Project Manager with 5+ years experience
P- Knowledge of Web programming (HTML, XML, XSL, CSS)
P- Experience with formal usability engineering
P- Technical writing experience
P- Knowledge of Cold Fusion, Java or C#/.NET



Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and will use hands and fingers to write, operate a computer keyboard and/or a calculator. Employee must occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must be able to talk and hear in order to exchange information with other employees, customers or vendors. Employee is required to move about the office as necessary to attend meetings, or transport records or files.
