High Level Description:
Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 6 - 8 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Description:
The consultant would perform the Project Management function for the Enterprise Integration Services (EIS) Team. This Project Management role would work with the GTA Client Program Infrastructure Program to execute the full project management lifecycle for the Hardware team.

This Project Management role will partner with the EIS Team Technical lead to coordinate resources through the delivery of project commitments.
The following will be of focus within the agreement set forth by this Change Request;
Update and maintain the 2009-2010 resource loaded project plan that directs the work assignments for the Hardware team members.
Perform a weekly progress analysis on project delivery for the Hardware team.
Perform project integration activities for the EIS team.
Perform issue management for the EIS team.
Perform periodic risk evaluations.
Coordinate the migration of releases into the Production Environment.
Develop the Strategic high level resource loaded project plan for 2010.
As needed, support other miscellaneous Project Management activities for the Client Program Infrastructure Team.

Qualifying Question:
1. How many years experience do you have as a lead to coordinate resources through the delivery of project commitments?
2. How many full management project life cycles have you been involved with?

Undergraduate Degree or equilivant experience desired.

Strong Project Management experience, PMI certified nice, but not required
Any Middleware Software integration experience/exposure (TIBCO is software we use) and hardware (UNIX) experience
Experience with large scale ERP (SAP, ORACLE, PeopleSoft) implementations
Ability to create and manage multiple plans
Strong verbal and written communications
Strong PowerPoint and Excel
Create status reports for Sr. Management
Experience with issue management and escalations
Work with both technical, management, and other project management resourcesdf-tc
