Description
PROJECT MANAGER - South Florida based builder of solutions for the mobile communications industry seeks an experienced, highly motivated and exceptionally organized individual for the position of Project Manager. PROJECT/PRACTICE RELATED COMPETENCIES
Project /Practice Management
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Review, analyze, prepare and process RFPs / RFQs.
Manages each projects P&L
Implements and manages processes and procedures to improve operations
Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to management or client.
Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Minimizes our exposure and risk.
Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
Tracking and reporting, both internal and external of assets, project progress reports and material requisitions.
Ensures project compliance with safety requirements
Management of project inventory and materials.
Familiar with all aspects of the installation of communication towers
Familiar with telecommunications outside plant, aerial and underground
Manages project budget.
Determines appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices.
Strategic planning of contractor and employee resources to meet project deadlines
Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.

Reviews the status reports of team members and addresses issues as appropriate.
Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
BS/BA or equivalent work experience
10 years prior construction experience
Experience managing technicians and tower crews in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Familiar with South Florida permit processes
Understand Florida contracting laws
Experience in estimating and preparation of RFP packages.
PMI and/or RCDD certification or equivalents
