Project Manager Testing Team
Overview
Looking for an individual with a technical project management background with experience leading project teams through the testing of a packaged software application with interfaces to a legacy environment. The project is part of an overall program to implement a new product for a large health insurance organization. The project team is made up of client, consultant and contractor personnel.
Skills
5-10 years of technical project management experience with demonstrated experience in leading testing projects in large organizations.
Proven ability to develop work plans, project schedules, manage teams, provide leadership in a complex organization with a multi-disciplinary team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology or equivalent combination of experience, certification and education.
Demonstrated experience with formal System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology with a deep understanding of all testing related activities.
Results orientation: consistently delivers on commitments, takes initiative, has a bias toward action, takes responsibility, shows individual accountability, has a sense of urgency, makes timely decisions.
Proven record of timely delivery and cost-effective solutions to support organizational initiatives.
Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated proficiency with technical writing and facilitation.
Excellent communication skills including ability to modify communication based on audience and negotiate effective solutions.
Proven change management skills with the ability to manage within a complex organization
Consulting experience a plus
Health insurance experience a plus
PMP certification a plusdf-tc
