Description

Contract position is to manager the commercial Unified Communications project (migration of Movius to Acision). Tasks will include defining business requirements for new capabilities and working with Technology on functional requirements and project planning. The second phase of the effort will be the actual migration of customers.

The Project Manager, Voice Product Development will be a Subject Matter Expert maintaining product knowledge of business VOIP services, infrastructure, and product platform activities for the benefit of client's Business, and be able to translate that knowledge into implications for the business support processes, overall business plan and product development.

Perform day-to-day interaction with client's Business product/project sponsor(s) on initiatives being developed and launched. Ability to lead and motivate large cross-functional teams in a Matrix organization.

Responsible for all aspects of development project management, including but not limited to task management, action plans, and launch and/or implementation activities as well as cross-company and inter-company coordination with wireless operator partners.

Coordinate budget/cost management implications, including accurately tracking project resource allocation and monitoring variances against budget.

Responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of voice network infrastructure and platforms, voice product enhancements, and/or risk mitigation strategies.

The Commercial Voice Project Manager will accomplish the above tasks by:

Proactive identification, analysis, resolution and communication of development issues (eg network, technical and service) impacting corporate and field organizations.

Developing cost effective practices and processes that make voice products and services more valuable for the customer, more manageable for the employee and more profitable for the company.

Coordinating closely with product/project sponsors in order to define project scope, requirements, development, and allocate the necessary resources for the successful completion of each project within budget and timelines.

Building strong working relationships with multi-faceted teams internal to client's Communications, including but not be limited to Business Product Operations, Residential Product Development, Engineering, Operations, MIS, Marketing, Public Relations, Legal/Regulatory, Customer Care, Training, markets and vendor partners.

Coordinating closely with cable industry partners to collaborate where appropriate.
