A longtime Client located in the heart of Atlanta, downtown has a contract position available for a Project Manager to support implementation of a Case Management System. Under general supervision the incumbent will provide support, training, and technical assistance to end-users of case management software deployed throughout the Georgia prosecution community. The incumbent will coordinate with the case management vendor concerning database administration, system upgrades, and programming changes.



Major responsibilities include (1) assessing the current case management software environment in Georgia to determine how well functional and technical needs are being met; (2) developing and executing a plan for the effective use and support of case management software within prosecution offices; (3) providing or coordinating end-user training to fully realize the benefits of automated case management software; (4) working with Georgia prosecutors in cooperative efforts with local, state, and federal agencies to integrate criminal justice data on a statewide basis; and (5) promoting the deployment and implementation of automated case management software for use by any and all prosecutors in Georgia in order to satisfy statewide reporting requirements.



This position requires a results-oriented individual with a demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent, customer-focused orientation in order to ensure the software and service provided meet the needs of Georgia prosecutor offices. Prior experience working with judicial case management software and/or supporting software in a criminal justice environment is a plus. Required skills include (1) excellent analytical and organizational skills; (2) ability to learn new software quickly; (3) articulate in both written and oral communications; (4) ability to conduct software training in a group setting within a computer lab environment; and (5) proficient with the following software - MS Office, MS Internet Explorer, MS Access, MS SQL Server, Corel WordPerfect, and Crystal Reports.



Preferred skills include (1) working knowledge and experience with HTML and XML; (2) certification in JIEM (Justice Information Exchange Model) tool from SEARCH organization; (3) PMP certification; (4) experience with .NET application development environment, and (5) experience with MS Windows Remote Desktop and Virtual Private Networking.
