Description
Job Title: Project Manager/Product Manager
Requirements:
- Product management experience preferable.
- Working knowledge and practical experience in financial industry, preferably in card issuing or processing.
- Finance and Marketing background a plus.
- Must be extremely organized, a self-starter, possess diligent follow-through capabilities and above-average oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills required.
- Must have PC skills including MS Word, MS Excel & PowerPoint.
- Ability to use MS Project and Access a plus.
- Public speaking and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated negotiation and decision making skills.

Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop opportunities for product growth and product enhancements.
- Manage vendor relationships including contracts, negotiations, and service levels.
- Initiate and author business cases and RS's when appropriate to develop and promote the product. This includes performing the role of Product Owner on major projects as needed.
- Participate in system and process testing as needed for new development projects.
- Coordinate and promote product support with other departments including training and continuing education of associates as appropriate.
- Initiate and drive development of marketing material such as business to business brochures and statement inserts. This is typically done in collaboration with Marketing personnel.
- Monitor operational processes and documentation (Ops Guides, etc) for efficiency as needed.
- Provide training and product knowledge to Sales and other associates as needed. This may also include presentations to clients, client groups or associate groups as needed.
- Maintain financial and fiscal responsibilities to maximize growth and profitability including pricing and cost of sales for products.
- Monitor and report financial performance of products.
- Cross train and back up associate Product Managers.
- Maintain adequate product knowledge.
- Keep abreast of legal and compliance requirements associated with products and take actions as necessary.
