We are seeking a Project Manager resource skilled in Cisco. Candidate will be required to perform the following:-We are seeking a candidate to act as a Project Manager and perform the following tasks:Plans, directs, and manages the technical projects within the network services groupCreates and manages project plans and compiles input from technical resources to refine each planCreates high level documentation for various assignments relating to technologies and new strategies that can be formulated into projects and tasksWork in conjunction with the technical resources and the telecommunication service provider in provisioning of T1, Frame Relay, and ATM circuits and assist with problem resolution / escalationHelps technicians and engineers create technical reference documents outlining operational procedures and tasks for building configurations of complex architectures and designsAssists in the development, planning, and implementation of new projects and technology in order to meet the overall strategic networking goals of the organizationEvaluates and recommends changes to existing projects and tasks to meet the compliance and policy objectives set forth by managementRepresents the division at external meetings related to project coordination with internal resources as they apply to the delivery of technical servicesInterfaces between various divisions to ensure that new projects are implemented correctly and that they follow the established networking standardsRequires at least 4 years of experience in the fieldShould have a working knowledge/understanding of the followingoTCP/IPoCisco Routers, Switches, PIX Firewalls and VPN devicesoMS Windows NT 4.0 and 2000 Server and workstationoNetwork Design and ArchitectureoProject Management oMS Proxy ServersoWINS/DNS/DHCPCandidate should have the following Knowledge/Skills:oStrong knowledge of MS Office products including MS Word, Project, Power Point Presentations, Visio and Excel spreadsheetsoFirm knowledge of Windows Technologies including both Server and Workstation O/SoFirm knowledge of server and networking hardware technologiesoStrong knowledge of Server and Desktop deployment methods using both internal and external resourcesoExcellent oral, and written communication skillsoStrong management and leadership skillsoExtensive experience with performing business strategy assessments and formulating project definition documentsCandidate attributes: Personable, determined, meticulous, cooperative, flexible and punctualCandidate schedule: Ability to be available as required by project management schedulesEducation: Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Masters Degree preferred.-Must be proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, MS Word, Power Point, and Visio-Certifications: PMP, Project Management Masters Certificate or equivalent-Local resources preferred as T&L will not be paid
