MUST HAVES: PMP Cert, and ERP Exp(candidates must have extensive experience in managing full-scale ERP implementations)...Can be either Microsoft Great Plains, SAP or Oracle

Our client is a leader in commercial and industrial security systems
solutions. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Information
Technology ERP System Project Manager. This is a contract position
expected to last 12-18 months. This position will be tasked with
implementing Microsoft Dynamics GP throughout the entire organization.
This company-wide system includes GL, AR, AP, Purchasing, Inventory,
Project Accounting, Field Accounting, HR, Payroll, and Sales Orders.

Qualified Candidates are expected to meet the following qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree (4 year) in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science or equivalent.
* Minimum five years experience in ERP/CRM software system implementations. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP system functionality strongly preferred.
* Five or more years of Project Management experience and PMI or PMP Certifications highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of requirements development, user acceptance testing process and tasks and ability to deliver associated work on a timely basis.


This position will:
* Plan, organize, direct and control the overall ERP project implementation
* Coordinates all activities, resources and schedules required for effective, efficient and accurate implementation of the project
* Work with financial project management and reporting tools to define project schedules, resources and costs to assure project cost control
* Be responsible for the overall quality of implementation

Key responsibilities and duties are:
* Plans and schedules internal personnel, consultants and temporary staffing needs for large and/or complex systems implementations.
* Prepares the project implementation schedule, manages the schedule and implements the schedule.
* Assists in the monitoring of the consultants performance.
* Maintains all records of project status, changes, resources and other control records.
* Serves as the "go to" person on the project and responds to team members concerns
* Responsible for interfacing with end users to determine satisfaction and/or areas for improvement
* Ensures proper project management and cost control by reviewing actual costs charged to the projects
* Devises a plan of action to remedy any project problems and implements a plan to assure cost control
