We are currently seeking an individual to perform the following job duties for one of our largest clients in the Pharmaceutical industry:
Looking for a Project Manager, familiar with the various web technologies, mainly Microsoft, to manage the Data Center Move Project for Procurement IT. This is mainly a project manager position, but there will be instances where they will be involved in some tech writing, investigation of applications that may lack documentation and what it takes to move them, identification of risks, etc...
High Level Job Description
. Our client's IT is migrating applications to a new datacenter and requires a hybrid BA/PM to plan the migration of applications that support the following business function: Procurement.
. The role will also require the BA/PM to plan and project manage various application and architecture upgrades.
. BA/PM will be assigned a group of applications that cover the Procurement business function.
. Applicants must be well experienced BA/PM's in this field and be able to work effectively under their own initiative with minimum supervision.

Objectives of role
. To perform all activities involved in planning the migration of applications to new data center.
. To develop the detailed project plan to migrate applications from target data centers to new tier 3 data center in Upper Providence PA
. To perform and coordinate analysis of applications necessary to provide migration documentation.
. To lead and participate in testing of applications identified as having potential latency impact.
. To lead and participate in migration pilots of identified applications.

Experience/Skills
Knowledge & Experience Required
. In depth knowledge and experience with IT Business Analysis and IT Project Management for business application environments in the following area - Procurement.
. Prior experience migrating applications from one datacentre to another.
. Proven ability to provide effective IT solutions to a large, complex organization
. Strong understanding of the application project lifecycle.
. Strong technical knowledge of application / database / hosting environments.
. Strong technical knowledge of application development.
. Strong technical understanding of application interfaces.
. Strong technical knowledge of the "tech refresh" cycle.
. Operational understanding of the relationship between the technical and functional environment.
. Strong knowledge and rigor using structured IT change management practice.
. Strong knowledge / experience using IT asset / inventory systems - preferably Chameleon.
. Experience managing onshore / offshore software vendors.
. Proven knowledge of testing methodologies and testing tools.
. Knowledge / experience of ITIL and IT QMS methodologies.
. Knowledge / experience of IT compliance, e.g. Sarbanes Oxley
. Knowledge / experience of IT regulatory constraints, e.g. GxP, PII & Data Privacy
. Experienced in preparing and presenting project proposals / costs.
. Experienced in tracking project budget, project reporting and metrics.
. Ability to track / manage / resolve project risks and issues.
. Experience managing a range of local and international project team resources and to interact effectively across boundaries with other global functions.

Training and Education years
. Education to degree level.
. Minimum of 7+ years of Business Analysis/Project Management or significant experience.
. Qualification in project management - preferably PMI or Prince2.
