Description
The Project Manager is responsible for acting as the primary contact on T. Rowe Price Information Technology (TRPIT) projects to manage and ensure customer expectations are met. This person is held accountable for leading projects, ensuring on-time delivery, managing to a budget, negotiating conflicting priorities, and managing a team. The project manager in this position will oversee enterprise voice related project development and support activities as well as Institutional CRM development activities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
o Leads and manages projects to comply with agreed upon deliverables, including meeting customer expectations, budgets, and delivery dates, and adherence to project standards.
o Manages expectations by effectively communicating to and working closely with the customers to clearly identify the business need to be addressed, define project scope and specifications, and advise customers of the relevant methodologies and processes employed in order to ensure customers are satisfied with the agreed upon deliverables.
o Identifies, communicates and resolves issues, recommends solutions or alternatives, and negotiates with customers, TRPIT, and vendors to meet project deadlines and budgets.
o Manages a team of associates with responsibility for selection, training, career development, performance management, and communicating goals and objectives, in order to develop a high-performing team.
o Employs advanced oral and written communication skills to make relevant technical and non-technical material understandable to business units and other groups within TRPIT. Possesses a solid understanding of the business function(s) supported by the projects for which they are responsible.

QUALIFICATIONS
o College degree and six years of related work experience, OR a minimum of 10 years related work experience
o 7 years project management experience
o Prior experience managing a budget
o Process-oriented, knowledge of systems development lifecycle methodologies
o Analysis and problem solving skills
o Strong interpersonal skills and ability to forge productive relationships
o Ability to communicate with, influence and impact at all levels within an organization
o Negotiation skills
o Business acumen
o Customer-focused
o Competent technical abilities
o 2 to 3 years of experience managing people
o 4 to 5 years of previous technical/business focused experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
o Project Management Certificate (PMI or PMP)
o Experience with Voice Technology platforms
o Experience with CRM projects/ platforms
o Proficiency with Microsoft Project
o MBA or MS in Finance or Technologydf-tc
