CTi PROJECT MANAGER - WEB DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT

Description: We are currently seeking an experienced IT/Web Services Project Manager with a diverse background in Web development, IT services and or other related Information Technology field. Candidate will be primarily responsible for managing new and current projects related to a large and diverse Federal Government client. Candidate will be responsible for all project related tasks including but not limited to significant project documentation, project status reports, presentations to project stakeholders, cost management, risk management, change management, client liason, effective management of resources and quality assurance. Candidate will be responsible for Web services affecting both external and internal customers. Candidate must have strong analytical skills as well as proven experience as a Sr Project Manager in a fast paced multi-task environment. Responsibilities include: Customer liason and Project Management for Web development projects, Web development of simple to complex applications from back end to user interface/front end design such as layout and graphics, strong attention to detail a must, experience with Web development, testing, implementation and maintenance in a team environment must. Strong oral and writing skills will be a primary requirement. Candidate must be able to demonstrate knowledge of established project management best practices, methodologies and principles in a manner that is consistent with established standards and vision for Federal Government Websites. Candidates must also assist in the development, documentation and presentation of standards and guidelines. The individual will be focusing on the management and production of high quality Web services in a Government Web development environment from inception through delivery.
Works closely with Contract Team Project Manager and other Project Managers, Federal Managers, Technical Team Lead Manager, Tech Team Members, Content Team Members and Quality Assurance Team Members to help develop and deliver custom applications for a wide variety of clients.

3 - 5 years of experience in an account management role; at least 3 of those years must be in IT/Web project management
At least 3 years experience in project management with IT/Web related services
Experience in working with business-to-business, business-to-consumer, or government clients is a plus
Must have experience dealing with technology clients
Possess solid understanding of best practices for developing, websites, and project management
Proven ability and comfortable with providing feedback to account service personnel and IT team
Demonstrated ability to efficiently juggle multiple projects to completion--on time and within budget--under tight deadlines
A strong self-starter with unprecedented motivation, work ethic and integrity
Maintains a client centric focus - strong quality focus
Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
Must posses analytical thinking skills within a diverse technical architecture
Personal organization and detail orientation absolutely required
Professional approach always when dealing with clients is a must

Strong technical skills a plus
Strong system integration, technical Web development mindset

Requirements: Candidate must have: Bachelor's degree in related field, or another technical discipline - Strong problem solving skills - Excellent oral and written skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Minimum three to five years experience in industry standard project management disciplines. - Ideal candidate will also have: Experience with Project Management Systems, Earned Value Management, Risk Management, Resource Management, Change Management Systems, Content Management Systems - Certifications a Plus - US Citizen, Permanent Resident and or proper work Visa
