We have a need for a Project Manager for MSN Operations in Redmond, WA. The responsibilities for this position include requirements gathering, generating system specifications, schedules, cost/benefit documentation, creating summary documents and presentations, and customer evangelism (all of these tasks obviously shared with the engineers). The main focus of this position is not technical leadership, but rather someone who is skilled at managing projects, cost/benefit analysis, attention to detail, communication (web, written, and oral), and solid writing and presentation material creation.

The resource will be involved in the following activities:
Defining vision and cope documents
Helping create solid cost/benefit documentation in conjunction with bizdev team
Creating and tracking project schedules
Creating a project tracking/communication web site
Writing up summary documentation and helping create user/marketing presentations
Meeting with customers in both a requirements capacity and a marketing capacity

Experience/Skills
Skills Required/Qualifications:
Previous project management experience
Previous experience creating presentation materials for senior management review
Previous experience in creating cost/benefits analyses
Reasonable knowledge of server and disk hardware and measuring performance metrics
Previous experience creating and tracking projects in MS Project and creating/using internal web sites to publish data
5+ years of industry experience
BS/MS in appropriate field of study Looking for local resources only for 8 month+ project.

Work must be done on-site. Laptop required as a personal productivity tool.
