Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in business, program/systems management or equivalent field, and (5) years relevant work experience, including technical and managerial experience with a total of ten (10) years combined business/technical experience, and experience using current information systems management tools required. Six (6) years experience in the supervision of Computer Information Technology professionals and the management of automated information system (AIS) development projects. During this time the incumbent must have served as a Project Manager, Program Manager or equivalent in charge of an effort involving one or more complex systems with a total of at least fifteen (15) persons. Management of AIS development projects must have involved the organization, direction, and production of all support activities. In a management capacity, the incumbent must have demonstrated the ability to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of management for planning and controlling projects; formulate and review project requirements and determine project costs; and interpret the policies, purposes, and goals of the organization and AIS to subordinates. Five (5) of the years must have provided experience in the application of AIS design, development and implementation techniques on large automated information and/or communications systems that involved a variety of hardware and software suites as a senior technical staff member.

Major Duties:

Provides direct customer liaison at the project management level and user level. Develops and implements system performance strategies. Develops and maintains management controls to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and compliant with customer specifications. Develops personnel skill requirements, selects prospective candidates and monitors performance to achieve project objectives. Provides administrative, supervisory, and technical direction for all of his personnel assigned to the contract.df-tc
