Description
The Bureau provides PC and printer deployment services for staff at 13 locations across New York State. It also interfaces with another office to deploy PCs and printers for staff in the Local offices in all counties in NYS as well as in New York City (80+ sites).

Duties of this position include the following
Project manager to supervise deployment projects at various locations. The position is full time, and the actual workday hours are flexible. There will be no travel required to the installation sites. There may be some travel (<10 miles) within the Albany area for project meetings
The duties are as follows:
1. Report to Technical Manager
2. Coordinate PC and Printer deployment activities including:
Validate allocations/current inventory of devices
Site Survey
Site Prep
Installs
Inventory updates
3. Work with the technical and deployment teams as required.
4. Work with County LAN Administrators as required.

Experience/Skills
MANDATORY skills required
Minimum 4 years experience in overseeing medium scaled projects comprised of sub-projects and distinct deliverables; typically coordinates and delegates the assignments for the consultant project staff numbering over 10. Focal point of contact for Issuing Entity regarding project status, meetings, reporting requirements; scope changes/extensions, and financial, administrative, and technical issues and concerns raised by consultant staff or Issuing Entity.
Three years experience coordinating PC rollouts.

DESIRABLE skills
1. Experience in coordinating medium scale (500 or more devices, 50 or more locations) PC roll-outs.
2. Previous experience managing PC Rollouts on Enterprise size Networks.
3. Experience managing medium scale projects.
