Description
Large company is looking for a PMP Certified project manager for a Desktop System Delivery Coordinator. Need to have experience with desktop deployments in a Microsoft Desktop environment. Must have the ability to deal with complexity and ambiguity; ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously; have analytical skills and thorough with attention to detail. Need to be an expert in MS Tools; MS Access; MS Excel. You will have Project Coordinator Role (Priority, 75%) and Tools Development Role (Secondary, 25%).



Project Coordinator Role (Priority, 75%):
* Responsible for planning, scheduling, provisioning, and coordinating desktop system migrations from acquired company to standard desktop environment.
* Works within business/employee plans prepared by the Integration Program Manager.
* Identifies and documents desktop integration issues and engages with technical teams to determine solutions.
* Tracks order fulfillment and pursues means to improved performance.
* Coordinates order fulfillment to ensure desktop systems are provided according to scope and schedules.
* Provides input to Desktop Integration Lead to reschedule in case of labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
* Reviews acquired company desktop environment to assure security guidelines are met and determine plan to bring desktops into compliance.
* Works with network PM to implement desktop connectivity and resolve desktop connectivity issues.
* Assist Desktop Integration Lead in preparing configuration templates and test plans.
* Coordinates with support leads to assure desktop environment meets standard support model.

Tools Development Role (Secondary, 25%):
* Assess current tools and methodologies
* Develop automated methodologies and tools using MS Tools to optimize tasks, processes, and workflow integration
* Develop data use cases, dependency models, and secure MS Access database implementations supporting various workflow integrations
