Description
PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client. Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Minimizes our exposure and risk on project. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Tracks and reports team hours and expenses. Manages project budget. Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices. Must have experience working within typical project management methodologies (PMI as an example). GENERAL BUSINESS: Must understand typical SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) approach. Must be familiar with typical IT operations and functions. SKILLS >> Candidates must have at least 3-5 years professional experience in PM (technology or financial services). Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office. Strong analytical skills as demonstrated by previous project and systems analysis experience. Strong interpersonal communication skills as demonstrated by ability to work effectively with various internal client teams. Strong formal communication skills as demonstrated by documents such as Requirements Definitions, Proposals, and management presentations. Ability to work in a self-directed manner, and follow-through on assignments and deliverables is essential.df-tc
