Description
Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated is looking for a Project Manager to fill a requirement at a customer site in New London, CT. This is an assignment through December 2007. Travel will be required about twice per quarter to the U.K. Candidate will be Project Manager for new Global Document Management System (GDMS). General Function: Leads and directs one or more project teams. Creates, reviews, evaluates project plans and objectives. Tracks and reports progress relative to time, budget, and demonstrated results. Negotiates with clients, colleagues and outside vendors. Communicates project status, milestones and issues to the project sponsors. Applies effective project management methodologies and control techniques. Keeps informed of Pfizer and PGRD business initiatives and advances in the IT field. Provides Project Management services. Examples typically include services in various combinations of the following: project initiation, efficiency review, life cycle management, resource management, risk management, change management, time and cost management analysis, major projects in applications, networks, operations, data warehousing, and software development; may require specialized skills in specific technologies. No 3rd party vendors.

Requirements:

* Familiarity with Documentum and publishing solutions required. * Experience communicating with vendors and business clients. * Business Analysis experience. * Experience working with 'off the shelf' product implementations. * Experience working with 'design and build' type implementations. * Experience leading a global team. * Experience working within a large corporation. * PMP Certification a plus. Experience: 7 Years + project and program management Education: Undergraduate or Masters Degree, Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP/ISEB)df-tc
