Description
InSource is seeking several Project Manager?s ranging from intermediate to senior level. These PM's must have experience managing a team of specialized IT professionals in a complex IT environment, as well as Project Managers with business experience within Investment and Life and Annuities environments. These Project Managers may be senior individual contributors, and/or supervise managers on business or technical teams. Positions may have budget accountability. These are full time positions. Travel will be required in the northeast financial corridor: Boston, Hartford, Stamford, New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia areas. Responsibilities: . Staff and supervise IT project teams and/or service units with specialists to ensure results meet negotiated customer expectations and adhere to internal IT standards, methodologies, and strategies. . Troubleshoot special problems and lead performance improvement efforts for one?s area based on a solid understanding of the technical concepts, methods, and practices applied by reporting staff. . Collaborates with customers, staff, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify customer requirements, assess impacts to other data, systems, products or services, compare costs and benefits, consider available technologies and processes and recommends solutions. . Monitor and report to IT management and user/customer management on the status of multiple, concurrent project or service efforts. . Develop and manage business plan(s) and budget(s) for functional area; identify resource needs and develop supporting justifications for them; responsible for the overall success unit managed.

Requirements:

Required: . Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a directly related field; Master?s Degree preferred and/or equivalent work experience. . 5 years of progressively responsible experience in IT. . Prior consulting experience such as Big Five/Four or with other large consulting organizations. . Demonstrated success in project management and execution, with involvement in multiple major projects, or a sustained record of success delivering complex IT services to a diverse clientele. . Business and/or Technical knowledge in any of the following: Life/Annuities, Investments and Insurance environments. . Salary based on experience. . PMI/PMP or Six Sigma Black Belt certifications are a plusdf-tc
