Description
Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated is looking for a Project Manager to fill a requirement at a customer site in Kalamazoo, MI. This assignment is expected to go through November 2007 with the possibility of extension. The Business Service Lead will provide effective strategic short- and long-term planning, service definition, business management, fiscal control, customer relation?s management, and oversight for the delivery of a variety of Amenity and Print/Graphic services provided through vendor-managed services. The BSL will act as the site technical subject matter expert to develop and recommend appropriate services to meet the strategic objectives of the site and Global Network. The role will develop and maintain effective relationships with the customer base and the vendors; will define service levels and align service delivery against the business needs. This position will also work with a peer group across the Site Services Network to align service standards, drive efficiencies, and implement best practices across the organization. Resources Managed: Manage contracts and outsourced services including: cafeterias, catering, company store, buildings & grounds (landscape, janitorial, pest control, window cleaning, snow removal, etc.

Requirements:

Training & Education Preferred: ? Bachelor?s degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience ? 5 years leadership experience ? 5-8 years experience in managing vended services in a similar management setting in terms of complexity and size Prior Experience Preferred ? Minimum of 5 years experience operating within a commercial organization.? Proven experience in managing the delivery of site services via vendor contract in a large, complex organization.? Demonstrated client relationship management. The successful candidates will be required to demonstrate sound business, contract/vendor management, financial management, and analytical skills. Successful candidates will also need to show how they have personally managed or sourced major support service contracts in the range of $50,000 to $5M. Preferably, the candidate will have a working knowledge of commercial service contracts.df-tc
