Project Manager - GB 07003

Description: A large financial protection and wealth management organization is searching for a Project Manager to perform the following functions in a large enterprise environment:
* Work with Sr. Management to define and develop program documentation and implement business processes necessary to implement programs and projects
* Manage third party vendors, multiple high-profile cross-functional teams and strategic programs within or outside IT
* Determine and track program interdependencies, milestones, deliverables and the financial impact of the program across business units
* Identify key program objectives, risks, and drivers, and create plans to manage these elements
* Build projects, processes and establish relationships
* Communicate effectively with business leaders and technology stakeholders
* Recommend and implement process improvements, policies, and best practices
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously

* 5-7 years of related work experience in the insurance and/or financial services industry
* Proven track record of delivering complex programs in a fast paced technical environment (>$2M budget)
* Experience building, managing, and leading large teams (>30 people)
* Demonstrated economic and business acumen of the technology impact on business drivers
* Ability to track financial impact of IT projects (costs and benefits)
* Strong communication skills with both business and IT executives and staff
* Must be detail oriented and possess strong organizational/presentation skills
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and gain consensus and resolve conflict
* Experience managing and tracking project budgets and benefits

Additional Requirements:
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong team work attitude
* Subject to background check and drug testing

Skills Desired:
*Application development background and Six Sigma experience is a plus!

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or other related field is preferred.
