Seeking a full-time Project Manager for a company that helps government entities Web-enable their information services.

Experience delivering Web applications utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies is a major plus although all candidates with generally strong project management and system analysis skills are encouraged to apply. The selected candidate will be part of a strong project management and development team and will be responsible for both enhancing existing Web applications and developing new Web applications.

Duties:

Responsible in whole or in part for performing system analysis, defining project scope, establishing system requirements, creating functional model or prototype, system testing, and other related system development duties

Establish project milestones based on the design and scope of work

May be responsible for writing technical requirements documentation depending on project scope and objectives

Provide overall project coordination

Execute necessary project management methodology to ensure project success

Generate project reports and attend necessary project meetings to disseminate project status information to both internal and external contacts

Create project proposals

Work closely with development and marketing teams as well as external partner contacts

Work within framework of strategic marketing plan and company business plan

Experience/Skills
Requirements:

Undergraduate degree in information systems, business, computer science or equivalent work in project management

Minimum of two years experience developing web applications preferred

Strong project management and system analysis skills for implementing web-based applications

Desire and ability to work in fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

Enjoy working independently and within small project teams

Excellent communication skills including strong written and verbal abilities

Strong problem-solving abilities

Exceptional customer service skills

Strong leadership, organizational and prioritization skills

Ability to analyze business processes and develop a practical and useful system to support them

Self-motivated

Desired Applications and Skills:

Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodologies for implementing web-based applications

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
