Description
Our client in Sidney, NE is looking for a Project Manager to join the IT team. Qualified candidates will have 8 to 10 years experience in senior project management capacity. Bachelor degree in Business Administration, MIS, or related field. PMP certification preferred.
- Responsible for initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects. This includes development of scope of work and the management of schedule, cost, risk, communications, human resources, contracts, risk and quality within internal and external projects.
- Work with business unit to select and prioritize project requests.
- Ensure delivery of projects against schedule, cost, resource, scope and quality baselines.
- Manage overall project activities and tasks.
- Provide regular status reporting to management.
- Coordinate internal/external project resources.
- Prepare and manage change orders.
- Prepare estimates and project budget.
- Provide issues management.
- Communicate within and outside of the project.
- Manage project spending.
- Manage activities at the task level.
