Our client, a major leader in information technology is currently looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Providence , RI.

Job Responsibilities:

They are responsible for the overall program/project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements with a major emphasis on management and coordination tasks.

Manage Perot Systems, customer and third-party vendor resources while ensuring good practices in standard methodologies and processes are used throughout the engagement to deliver an integrated solution.

Act as a business partner in development, sales, service design, existing business growth, and delivery of new business for Perot Systems.

At higher levels, incumbents are instrumental in overall planning and selling of services, and increasingly have greater industry knowledge and cross industry experience.

Deliver a variety of software development projects on time, within budget and compliant with specifications. The PM will operate in a matrix to ensure the successful completion of the projects.

The PM will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of all PM deliverables including, but not limited to scope documentation, project schedules, status reports, meeting minutes, and budget tracking sheets.

The PM will manage a team of diversified skill sets to complete the technical documentation as well as perform the development and testing required to place the software into the production environment.

The PM will act as the customer's single point of contact for their projects and must be able to report project status on a pre-determined cycle.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Required Skills:


Must have experience in managing IT Software Development projects in a Healthcare environment.

Must have 3+ years experience managing projects.

Must have MS Projects.

Desired Skills:

Consulting/Outsourcing experience.

Certifications:

PMP
