Description
Our client, a major Fortune 500 company is currently looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Rockville, MD.

Job Responsibilities:

As the Senior Programme Manager/Delivery Leader, the candidate will be the senior member of the project team leading all aspects of the program.

The PM will be responsible for Program Management for all projects within the tower.

Work with PMs through Weekly Project Crossfeed and Monthly Delivery Tracking meetings to proactively identify any risks and issues to project areas and work with them on appropriate mitigation plans.

Responsible for working with Technology leadership teams to appropriately escalate and work through any program level as well as specific project risks and issues.

Responsible for communication and coordination of all enterprise initiatives and activities that have impact on any of the applications/projects.

The manager will also be responsible for and directs the many aspects of integrate program plan. Setting direction, for the schedule development, tracking and reporting status

Perform direct Project Management as needed for initiatives that span program (tower) area. Examples include Disaster Recovery, Server Consolidation, XP Testing etc.

Creation and on-going management of project budgets.

Creation and execution of the Integrated Roadmap.df-tc

Experience/Skills

Required Skills:

Must have 5+ years experience as a Project Manager.

The Senior Programme Manager/DeliveryLeader must have experience utilizing MS Project , Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office tools.

As the Program Manager, the candidate must be able to set direction and makes policy decisions for the programs under their direction ensuring that client obligations are met and projects are completed on time and on budget.

Must also ensure that all SLA requirements are met for the applications.
