Description
Global Technology Provider is seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for managing projects from the definition of a work package through field test, as well as the ongoing maintenance of released product versions through service packs. The position serves as a single point of contact during product development, managing cross-functional aspects of each project and ensuring a strong and seamless relationship through communications at all levels of management. The Project Manager works across Product Management, Software Development, Software Quality, and Hardware Engineering to identify and deliver on specific project requirements through project plans, work breakdown structures, milestones, and change control procedures.
. Directs all aspects of Project Management covering all engineering phases from basic, detail, commissioning, and construction according to the contractual requirements.
. Ensure that the right product is delivered to meet Company's quality standard, and contract requirements.
. Utilize project management methodologies, system and tools as defined by Company.
. Lead Project Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst the functional representatives.
. Track project against its schedule, budget and against phase review objectives, reporting status to management and customer on a regular basis, and executive staff on an as needed basis.
. Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated eventualities.
. Prepare periodic management and/or customer reports and presentations.
. Prepare and conduct Project Kick-Off Meetings.
. Prepare and conduct Project Meetings.
. Provide feedback regarding employee performance on a project team to the functional manager for documentation.
. Prepare and conduct Lessons Learned Project Completion Meetings.
. Recommend new processes where needed to improve quality or on-time delivery.

Experience/Skills
. 3-7 years Project Management experience.
. One or more Project Management certification (PMP, PMI, etc.)
. Bachelors Degree
Proficient with Microsoft Office software, Microsoft Project and Windows based systems and environments.
